I can't even believe it happened -- again!!
Nolan and I got to pay our dear, dear friends in Rochester another visit, and I am so thankful!! Nicole (in Nashville) got the ball rolling by planning a visit with her kids... Then we realized Steph (returning from New Zealand, moving to Spokane, WA) would still be there between relocations... Toss in Beth and Rachel too (who both live in Roch), and I knew I couldn't miss this. Thankfully I didn't have to do any begging, as Mikel was more than willing to send us. I think he remembered our last visit and the medicine it was to my soul. He is a good man!
We flew into Rochester's tiny airport, rented a car, dumped our stuff at dear Rachel's house, and after giving Nolan a 20 min nap, made the familiar drive to Beth's house! Pulling up to her driveway, I felt like I had just been there last weekend. It's still home.
