I mean, this is just sad.
Today is Aug 10th -- and I am logging the Ayaram's visit, which was in January. Wow. Trying to pick and choose a bit about what I update --- but these photos were so cute, and this friend is so sweet that it simply has to be included! The trip demands to be immortalized in blog form, so it's preserved for the wedding slideshow. (Save the date! Spring, 2034!)
Sadly, Kara developed a black lung or something shortly before their trip here --- that is, she was up all night coughing and hacking, and her voice sounded like a man. Thankfully she kept it to herself, but man did we feel terrible for her!
So much love to give. Princess dress girl + helmet head boy.
Dr. David is a big help at the playground!
(Once again, today is August 10th. From where I sit, I can't even remembering needing a sweatshirt and jeans, but these pics are proof positive, I guess.)
More wedding slideshow ammo...
But these -- THESE -- pics! These are the big reason for the post.
Remembering this humungous game of Monkey See, Monkey Do still cracks me up!
Putting on the moves and trying to hold her hand. Smooth, this one.
"If this thing is gonna work, you're going to have to learn to play cars."
Snapped this pic to show that Khaki didn't eat Kona (the Ayarams' weenie dog).
Khaki and Kona were BFF's in Rochester, but it had been several years since they had seen each other, and Khaki is known for her dog-aggressive ways. After being reintroduced through a fast-paced, walk (thank you, dog trainer, for teaching me that one), they were actually fine. A relief!
Love this little bitty girl (and her little bitty mom!)
Kara, forgive my delay in this! Sure wish we could repeat it this winter (minus the black lung, for your sake)!
Hooray! I LOVE looking back and reliving this! (Minus the hacking and man voice of course). Those two are seriously adorbs! We miss you!
ReplyDeleteSo fun....Love seeing you guys!
