In our pursuit of someplace family friendly with FOOD (it was 2pm and we hadn't eaten lunch), we headed to one of our favorite restaurants: Pi. It's a locally owned pizza joint that we love. Nolan was a dream - taking it all in and flirting with the other guests. Such a happy boy!
Then one of the agents called to request a second look for her clients right away. We were already headed home and Nolan had lost his happy boy state and was now screaming for food, so we parked just around the corner where I could nurse him but we could spy on the buyers. They spent another 45 mins looking around (thanks, but white glove??) and we were anxiously waiting to get back in with our now overly sleepy boy.
Now as I type, Nolan's in his bed, I'm resting and Mikel is getting both cars washed and vacuumed (did I mention he's great?). I didn't realize how much emotional exhaustion is associated with this process! So glad I have such a wonderful husband and sugar pie son to do it with. This house has a lot of memories and I hope whoever buys it will love it like we do.
In other news, a package arrived today containing all of these baby blankets, lovingly made by my Granny. She shipped it back in December and it arrived today -- 3 months late. Merry Christmas, Nolan! Talk about an extended celebration -- and so much for Priority Mail!
